The good thing about these chargers if you have it grounded wrong it won't mess anything up, it just won't work. There's a series of lights on the front that will initially light up and when it gets to #7 it's fully charged. You can still leave it on there and it will keep it topped off which is good for someone who doesn't drive every day. Below those lights are the battery setting just push the mode button until the two in the middle are lit up for the AGM battery, see pic below. They will keep that setting so you don't have to reset it every time.make sure the ground is on the chassis side of the terminal (where my finger is) or even on a separate chassis ground. Don't put the negative directly on the battery.
