My Diamondback Sidewinder was delivered today.

I’m going out of town tomorrow, so this will have to wait for Monday to install on my ‘23 XLT SCLB.

Hmm, can’t find that model on their website. Is it a new model or did you mean “Switchback”?

I think mine's called SE or something, one of their models which has been around forever. What I like about this one is how you can open the front section independently. I carry lot of gear & it saves me lot of time & effort reaching into area just behind the cab.

I did prefer the textured finish vs diamond plate, but I waited until one popped up in the outlet section of their website, so I had to go with it. Another plus is the tie down hooks & I think mine supports up to 400lbs on top of the cover(great for hauling furnitures). There are more expensive ones that can support the weight of quads. Good bed covers! Tri-fold style is really popular, but I'm sure Diamondback one would be really tough & more water resistant too.

Very nice! I love my Switchback. Although the HD and SE are awesome, the ability to quickly use oversized items in the bed by flipping the panels (rather than full removal) makes the Switchback super useful. I rarely put anything on the top, but I have strapped down a couple of small coolers on top when the bed was full of kayaks. Worked well!
