Yes it’s a legit option. Glad it worked out well for you!

Don't tell anyone but I think they come with one in the box now ?We've confirmed this works with the CVF downpipe?
Black Friday sale?Don't tell anyone but I think they come with one in the box now ?
I used the middle size restrictor for the last year and it's been good. One way to make sure the restrictor works is drive it at high speed like the highway for some time getting the temps up. If it doesn't cause a CEL your gold.Haha perfect! Just put this in today and used the smallest thing like you said. No more CEL!![]()
Always!Nice, it's on my short list

Always!
Going to buy your downpipe soon. Does it still come with the 'dont tell anyone' item in the box so I don't throw CEL?Always!
YesGoing to buy your downpipe soon. Does it still come with the 'dont tell anyone' item in the box so I don't throw CEL?
Superdannyboy (or anybody with this part):Oh sorry, I'm running an MBRP exhaust muffler back with the dual exit. Still have the stock flex pipe and midpipe so I used the 2.5 adapter from the downpipe to the flex pipe.
Is that the accidentally included elbow?Obviously happened to fall in the box while it was getting packedGoing to buy your downpipe soon. Does it still come with the 'dont tell anyone' item in the box so I don't throw CEL?
Yep, it’s all in the same. The defouler is a spacer for the sensor, basically pushes it back a bit so the sensor doesn’t pick up as much of that high airflow, so doesn’t throw the flags.
yeah, most of the time I just see basically what is an elbow piece, and from what I hear, it works no problem. I would just do it… Definitely with inspections are Smog ? or whatever you have. Just be glad you’re not in California!I'm due for an inspection and it's time to take the defouler out of the glove box and onto the downpipe. Did you guys use the restrictor with the smallest hole or the biggest hole? Also did anyone add the defouler with the downpipe installed already? Hopefully I can fit a wrench in there with the downpipe installed.
Thanks.
That would be a freaking miracle and take away a force of a program that requires companies to pay for a CARB – EO number and it’s just a money grab in that particular instance!I've been reading a thread on the epa, and what I'm reading is Trump is doing away with carb altogether. 50 state emissions only.
