Welcome to round 2 of Crush, Sell, Buy.

If you’re new to this, the rules are pretty simple. We’ll give you three vehicle options. Then just reply and tell us which one you would buy, sell, and crush to smithereens.

Well, my 1983 Ranger was my grandfather’s. He drove it for 6 years and gave it to me when he bought a 1990 F150. In the first year I had it, it blew a head gasket on the highway with less than 30K miles on the odometer. It was out of warranty of course. A few months later, the transmission went out. So, some of the sentimental value went away with needing a new engine and transmission before hitting 33K miles. ?

I don't like your options.

Crush: Yellow 1974 Pinto I drove in high school. Nothing spelled nerd more than driving a known fire hazard in a high vis color.

Sell: 1988 Toyota pickup standard can. Reliable, but couldn't get out of its own way, especially with the air on.

Keep: 2021 Ranger Lariat FX4. Mainly because I have to play the game somewhat inside the rules.

Plus, I've now given some notion of my olden age with the Pinto.
