  1. Georgia Undercover Swing Cases (Pair) - $300

    $275 shipped the 24184
  2. Virginia AVS New Bug shield

Where in VA? I'm near Roanoke and work on DC and Winchester quite a bit.
  3. Tire Survey

I've put about 3k mostly highway miles on the Falkens. They are a nice ride and surprisingly quiet for how aggressive the outer lugs are. They worked great on the mountain trails here in western VA. Overall I'm very happy with these over the factory hankooks.
  4. Tire Survey

Road noise at 77mph is very low. I can have hands free call and no one hears any tire noise. Just filled up and got a little over 22mpg mostly highway 70+ mph driving. Finally got up the hill after our crews cleared the downed trees.
  5. Tire Survey

The Ranger on its new shoes did great on a rough trail this morning. Only a downed tree stopped it.
  6. Tire Survey

I've been very happy so far. I haven't checked mpg yet, but just drove 200 interstate miles unloaded and the tires are quiet and have a good ride. Tomorrow I will be going off road to a couple of radio sites and will report back on how they do.
  7. NHTSA investigating FORD engine issue

Just thank your stars you don't have the v6 the early Edges have. Failed water pump dumps water into the oil pan. My mom's had 76000 miles and required a new engine to repair it. Thanks Ford for the $7700 bill for that.
  8. Tire Survey

RANGER_ROCKS: I had the Toyo AT3s on my land rover discovery and also liked them a lot. In fact they were on the top of my list until reading the comparison from Tire rack between them, MT Bajas and the Falkens. The consensus was the Falken was the better tire in my main usage environment...
  9. Tire Survey

Thanks all. I went with Falken Wildpeaks via TireRack with Discount Tire handling the install.
  10. Tire Survey

Thanks for everyone's input. It looks like I'll narrow it down this weekend with everyone's input. A lot of my decision comes down to nearby support. My nearest Discount, Goodyear, and Firestone are about 30 miles away. Some good local tire stores are nearby, but none of them are Michelin or...
  11. Tire Survey

I didn't realize cooper was made by Goodyear. Interesting looking tire, definitely on the list.
  12. Tire Survey

Thanks for the responses guys. Looks like most of them are in the $275-$300 range anyway. I've got experience with the Toyos and a friend has General Grabbers he likes, but they don't come in Ranger size. I'll look over the Falkens. I've never had good luck with BFG of any model.
  13. Tire Survey

I love near the Blue ridge, so we use logging/fire roads some. No hard off reading. We see snow regularly here in West central Virginia along with hilly terrain. I also tow close to max capacity quite a bit.
  14. Tire Survey

I've thought about all seasons, but some boat ramps are pretty slippery and I wonder about their grip in that situation. Also, will be towing my 911 to some events several hours drive away.
  15. Tire Survey

Well, I've got 40k on the OEM Hankooks, but it's time for new tires. Going with stock size 265-60R18. I had To AT3 on my land rover and lived them. Not sure I really need triple peak rated tires on the ranger. What have other folks put on and how happy are you with them?
  16. Farewell Ranger

Interesting about the mpg. I could never get any better than 18mpg in my F150 with the coyote. I can't get any worse than 20 in my ranger. But then again if I want to go fast I use this.
  17. Almost 1 year Kristina’s Wildtrak

Back at Oriental NC. Another great time.
  18. Towing question…

Tell them you're pulling a Corolla:rockon::wink:. But, I expect the real reason for the rejection is that there are no trailer brakes. While the ranger has a 7500 pound towing capacity, it doesn't have a 7500 pound braking rating. The trailer need brakes.
  19. What are you guys towing?

Nice looking jet boat, 22 or 25 feet? I've been looking at the Scarab 255 open with their twin 300hp pumps.
  20. Livernois Group Buy is Live!

I currently tow at the high end of capacity. I haven't seen any issues with my transmission or hauling mode. What would I gain from spending a half of a thousand dollars here? What is the real world increase in torque running either 89 or 93 octane. My mpg is going to stink any time I'm pulling...
