Replaced my rear intrusion bars so I can squeeze in my 285/70/17's.
I don't know what all the cutting is about?
A couple of taps with the hammer and I got the clearance to pull them out.? Pfft....you can't see it, it's covered by the trim and mud flaps.
EDIT: if I left the first pic out, you'd never know.

My ready lift bars should be here next week. At least now I know I can’t lower the bar any more

Nobody would've known if I didn't say anything. You can't see it and it's only a few mm to get them clear. Don't have to go out and buy any new tools now.?

Missed opportunity
No more!! I already can't fit all of them in. I need a new bigger tool box. It would've gotten real expensive if I went to Home Depot! Christmas...new box.

I wonder what the insurance companies will say when they find out crash bars have been cut, shortened, removed or replaced with aftermarket ones....just saying

Update. Seriously, just a tap with a hammer and I had the clearance. Threw a rag over this side. Save yourself some excessive work by doing this. You can take a pair of pliers and bend it back the 2mm you needed if it's gonna bug you.
So easy, so fast.? Took me 1/2 hr to do one. Including removing the tire and jacking it up ?
