In the 50's a guy had a rattle in the passenger side of his car which was driving him crazy. He finally removed the door panel and found a thermos that an assembly line worker left inside the door...

On my way to work one morning in 2004, I saw a black clump along the road. As I drove past, it looked like a hose, so I went back and it was a 50' length of 6/4 NM wire. Picked it up, tossed it in the bed of my Lightning and used it to run a sub-panel when I finished the basement in our new home. Saved me about $100 at $2/foot.

I found a nice 100 foot tape measure on my gas meter behind my gate. Guessing the county assessor was measuring my house and entered my gated and fenced backyard. Without my permission so I certainly kept it.

Last year we had a half bath remodeled, and when the workman was done, he left a like new 8-inch pipe wrench in the new cabinet. We emailed him and never got a response.
