Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately you will end up spending a lot of money on a vehicle that really doesn’t need it? it started with a bed cover, then a tune, then new leveled struts, then new tires, then new rear shocks….. It’s a great vehicle and I hope you enjoy making it your own!

Amazingly, the Ranger tailgate is lighter weight than the Maverick one is. Regardless, I installed a DeeZee tailgate assist last night

Bob welcome to the forum! I missed your post last week.

I too wanted a Maverick but I was too sheepish and missed the pre-order boat because I had a car that worked fine. Then when the car didn't work fine and I found myself between a rock and a hard place the dealers wanted more for a Maverick than they did for a Ranger. $15k minimum ADM on a Mav was the best I could find off the lot last October in Las Vegas.
