Good morning everyone, I am writing from Argentina, I have a 2021 RR, which with only 800 kms showed me the orange key alarm on the dashboard, then low fuel pressure, I was looking through some posts from some of you that It could be the fuel pressure sensor, obviously since the vehicle is under warranty I cannot touch a screw, but the official dealer together with the guarantee decided to change the fuel pump, the truck still has the same problem, can anyone give me some experience ?
The fault that supposedly appears is code p0008a and fault E29.
The fuel pump was changed and as soon as I left the dealership the orange key turned on the dashboard and the loss of power was noticeable, after using it for a while the check light appeared. I hope your help with your comments and experiences, thank you very much

good morning, I wanted to update the status of the repair of my ranger raptor, now from the factory they say that apparently the problem is in the fuel pressure sensor located in the fuel lines inside the engine compartment, said sensor is the jb3q9g756.
I can not get the spare part, if someone can help me get it to replace it and see if the fault persists I would be very grateful, I attach photos of the sensor in question

Hey mate, first off, I wish you the best of luck on that. First off, keep in mind that 90%+ of this forum are based in US/Canada, and we all have 2.3L petrol engines, while your Ranger Raptor has the 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel. And our dealership experiences/responsibilities may be different.

However, if the vehicle is still under warranty, the dealership should get you the part. You shouldn't have to be looking on your own. I can't imagine that it's completely 100% unavailable - in the US, OEMs have to have enough service parts for 10years after the last production. That truck and engine is still in production (well, not the RR w/ BiT, but the Bi Turbo out of South Africa / South America... And technically the Bi Turbo on the next gen ranger, though the sensor may have changed)... But that doesn't mean that it's readily available. I would pressure your dealership to do a part swap from a vehicle on the lot to at least confirm that's the suspect part.

And being that it's just a sensor, if they refuse to let you have the part from the other truck while they back order the right part... I would have them order the part, and unplug your sensor. There should be a pretty good back up mapping of the pressures, so the truck should drive relatively fine... with a check engine light on because it's going to be non-emissions compliant without the sensor... Just my personal 2 cents... for whatever that's worth.
