Available in 4-ply rating (SL & XL), the Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT refreshes the popular Discoverer AT3 4S with incremental improvements where it mattered most. Featuring a next-generation tread pattern, the Discoverer Road+Trail AT utilizes a more rugged sidewall design over its predecessor which transitions nicely from the shoulder lugs. In addition the new aesthetics, drivers can expect superior wet performance and improved steering feel, with the same on-road comfort found with the previous version. I ended up grabbing these for my 2019 Ranger, I am at 90k miles. I used up the Hankook's, tried Toyo Open Country AT3 (very good) and now these. I have always done the stock tire size. These were only available in XL for the stock 18 size, I am very happy with them. Firmer ride, strong sidewall. I did notice a drop in MPG, however the more I drive it's been getting a little better. Awesome in snow and muddy class IV roads here in Vermont. I really like the ride quality on pavement and the highway. Highly recommend these, they are great at everything.

I also picked these up a few months back. Curious what PSI you ended up choosing for them. By the book it seems like they should call for the same 30PSI that the door sticker lists, but they felt kind of “soft” at 30. Maybe they’re just stickier but the steering effort at low speed was a lot higher until you pump them up to about 34PSI.
Also unscientifically feels like I saw a drop in MPG but I’m holding judgement until we get back to summer temperatures to do a more apples to apples comparison.

The installer ended up doing like 34-35 psi. I lowered it down to 30 per the door but I do agree with you, these might be better a little more. Haven't played with it though - need to get an alignment and then maybe try a chalk test to see. I did notice these are heavier and XL load which may cause a little drop in MPG but also going to wait to see more.

Thank you, I am very happy with these. I do not think you will be disappointed.
