Well, sugar foot! I guess it’s back to another attempt, and wire holes poked through my hands. I had not thought of using the metal tape, that looks like a more secure way to install.

The tip on rear cab vents is greatly appreciated! Edit: I don’t recognize where those vents are, could you point them out? This must also be where the packrat got in on my last hiking trip in the Elkhorn mountains.

FYI, I did the mothball trick under the engine of the Ranger in my carport, laid the bag down and poked holes in it. No more rat problems so far.

I doused the battery blanket with peppermint oil. It seems to have worked for the moment.
