Charging System Service Now

Hey guys first time poster long time reader here. I have a 2019 ranger lariat with a little over 30,000 miles (don't drive much) and I recent was jumping my coworkers car and he mad the mistake of having the positive and negative swapped! And I could smell something burning immediately, ultimately when I drove away I saw the Charging system Service Now message on my dash and I thought time to get new battery the one is got is 6+ years old. Get a new battery and still got message so I check the fuse to the alternator and it is clearly blown. I'll post some pics below. Guys I'm an idiot first of all and feel silly for asking but could I just simply replace this bolt on fuse with a part from Napa or do I need the full ford assembly

Here is a link to purchase that fuse. I've heard it is expensive to buy at a Ford dealer.

The fuse is replaceable separately.
eBay has them also.

This is another reason I use a jump starter instead of jumper cables. The Built-in safety features are a plus.

It appears Ford sells that assembly ($$$$) but @RangerBill has the good hookup for the fuse only, above.

Hoping @LevittownFordParts.com knows more. Hey Benny, does Ford sell the 225 amp fuse from the battery circuit breaker on its own or does the entire circuit breaker assembly (GB3Z-14526-A) need to be purchased?

Do you have a NAPA store near you?
They have the 225 Amp fuses in stock. PN: 782-1141
It may or may not visually look the same as the (OE) but it serves the same function.

while you are waiting for the fuse, put the battery on a Tender trickle charge
these things seem to happen around the change of season or if you dont drive it much

Just a FYI the link above for the 225 Amp Fuse is the actual OEM Fuse. ordered 2 to have on hand - I have another from napa but it's all black and no window.
