Our state trail app, CoTrex, works well for me. All my travels are usually here in Colorado.I boondock in my RV a lot, so am off road for long stretches, Gia is my go to app for off road mapping, with onX Offroad being a close second, I love having options.
In Gia it is really easy to download maps w/waypoints for off grid use, the onscreen compass and elevation with various map overlays make it versatile. I bought the full subscription of 5 years for $20 after using the free version to evaluate it. Full Gia Topo with grid and elevation lines, USFS, all Public lands, Satellite with and without labels, and USGS Topo maps available. You can overlay the topo grids with Lat/Lon, UTM, MGRS, or distance markers. Sure wish I had this when I was in the Army, would have made things a lot easierOur state trail app, CoTrex, works well for me. All my travels are usually here in Colorado.
I kept hearing a bunch of good stuff about OnX so I tried it out my last day trip. I wasn't too impressed personally, perhaps it was because I was using the free version?
I use an Android phone, but I'll try the Gia App. Maybe it'll work with Android Auto. If not, ohh well.
Gaia also works with Android auto now too.Our state trail app, CoTrex, works well for me. All my travels are usually here in Colorado.
