Camper Shell Rails/Bars

Looking for opinions on rails and bars for a camper shell. @the1mrb was kind enough to share his setup. Other recommendations?

Front Runner makes a couple sets of universal tracks and then have crossbars, platform racks, etc. that you can get that would work with them. What kind of bars are you looking for?

Something like these? They make a 52" and a 58" crossbar like this. I can get a quote out to you for universal roof tracks and some crossbars.

@DukeCanBuildit I bought the Rhino Rack rails and aero bars. The rails have to be cut to fit. Both Rhino Rack's site and etrailer.com where I bought them say they are a fit but the rails are 63" long. Will get them mounted in the next few days if work schedule cooperates. Will post some pics.

There’s a thread you might find helpful. It has info on canopy setups from the1mrb, RangerVA, and me.

Matt drilled the legs directly into the canopy, then put up crossbars, then a roof top basket.

Vince put up tracks, then legs, then crossbars, then a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform.

This provides the lowset profile possible and easily clears the crown of the roof. All three setups have a lot of good pictures and helpful information. I have all my part numbers documented there as well.

Finally got mine installed. Pretty happy with the overall look. Went out for a drive on some of our county’s backroads.
