Your truck retained its value pretty well. I bought my '19 XLT as a Certified Pre Owned vehicle in '20 for $29K, and that's how many miles I have on mine now. I am encouraged!

It was comically underpowered. The interior was super gaudy and tacky like it was trying to be "tough truck stuff" but like way over the top. The big center screen is in your face because you sit on the floor like a car and your feet are way infront of you. So the entire dash is in your lap. Which also gives bad visibility. What a horrific vehicle, truly. Would never buy a Toyota.

I've owned 2 Toyotas. A '84 Corolla sport (no longer made) and a '93 4x4 pre-taco truck, aptly named 'Pickup'. Both were great. I was young then so didn't notice the seating position, or if they even had that issue then. The car was a 'sport' so it was low anyway, but the hood dove down out of sight so the view was completely clear out the windshield. It had 275k miles when I donated it to some charity, and I think during that time I replaced a clutch and alternator. Can't think of anything else beside basic stuff.

The truck wasn't driven much and never had any major issues, and people were beating down the door when I sold it. All of them were contractors who said that particular truck was a tank. I bought it used for 14K in '94 and sold it about 6 years ago for 8k.

I've owned 2 Toyotas. A '84 Corolla sport (no longer made) and a '93 4x4 pre-taco truck, aptly named 'Pickup'. Both were great. I was young then so didn't notice the seating position, or if they even had that issue then. We had a 2006 Corolla with 360,000 miles that we donated in 2016 to a Vet's charity - I think we had the hoses and belts changed, a set of brakes and 3 sets of tires on it. It was 99% highway driving. Kate had an 86 mile drive, each way for work - so she racked up the miles.

It still drove great. And at 60 mph, it got 40 mpg!

Of course, Kate drove it at like 85-90!

The distance to the moon is only 239,000 miles, so Tom and Kate could have easily driven there! =)

Same. When I first bought it I was driving 55 miles each way, so that was the majority of the mileage, and it was highway or straight rural roads. The highway stuff was probably 80mph, and rural roads was as fast as I could safely navigate at night. I worked 2nd shift at the time, and had a remote radar detector mounted in the grill. One night I got home in some stupid amount of time. I don't remember what is was, but around 40 minutes. Good times.... but I would never commute again, even if I wasn't retired. That's just crazy, but you do what you gotta do.

I had a 85 GTS hatch, a SR5 coupe that I converted to a GTS, and a Celica/Supra (anyone remember those ?) all manual transmissions and were also used as night time spirited hill drive machines… haven’t been too fond of Toyotas after the 80’s… the Celica GT-4 (or all-4) the awd celica was cool in the 90’s but wasn’t very cool looking but it sure was a fun to drive car… and well all generations of the Supra are Toyotas that I like. Had a mark 3 Supra for awhile but it was automatic transmission.. stil fun though….

Seating position of the Tacoma is tooo car like in my opinion.

Oh yeah, the Supra was my 'dream machine' at the time, but was too rich for my budget. I was at the dealer years later and they had one on trade. I guess after my tastes matured, it wasn't 'all that' any more. If I could have afforded one in my early twenties it would have been mine.

And also agree, I don't have anything negative to say about them, but I'm not crazy about them now. Don't know why.

Wonder what it sold for. I am guessing considering the cost of 6g Rangers, the value of some of these 5g will do okay.

Maybe autotrader isn't as popular anymore but not too many Tremor listed, cheapest one is $31k with 60k miles. Ewww, they put what looks like street tires on it but has ditch lights and an RC Bed Cap. Hummm.....trade in for a Ranger Rap.....no no I love this truck, dont think about this!

Sold for 28k, or just shy of it. That dealership doesn't negotiate on sale price, only trade-in value. At least in their used area.

31k with 60k…. Wonder what my 23 with 55k (highway miles of course ??)

I wonder if it would help that mine got a new engine at 50k miles lol so only 10k miles on the new engine. The trans though, that is all I would need in order to get $40k I bet lol jk jk. I was lucky to get my Tremor as +$500 over sticker in 2021. Talked them down from $5k markup. If I remember there were like $700 in rebates so I was ok with that $500. Even if all I would get is $30k for the truck, for 4 years of use that isn't bad. I don't plan on selling though
