Didn't really know where to put this so it's going into the Exterior Mods section. Stupid me, ineffective sensors. I backed into a medium sized tree and creased my rear bumper. The plastic step guard is pushed back on the left side and I can see a some deformation in the bumper where I banged it. It's not life threatening but gives me an opportunity to put in an upgraded bumper. What the collective thought on which one to get. I know, it's mostly cosmetic but I want to check the group.

Also, I would need to measure if I bent anything underneath. Are there frame dimensions posted anywhere so i can shoot a few measurements to make sure the insides are still straight and all I have to do is install a new bumper.

Thanks,
Jeff

Google Ford Ranger Body Builders Layout Book.pdf. I tried to attach it here but the file is too large,

Don’t blame the sensors. Perfect example of how all this safety tech making us a bit lazy/unobservant and thus diminishing the benefit of this tech.

Ya, I was backing away from a stop sign to check directions on my phone. I didn't want to block the intersection. It was a heavily tree lined area and I was about a foot or so (I thought) on the pavement. There was all kind of clutter in the sensor's view, probably why I didn't get any kind of beeping and since I thought I was in the clear on the roadway, all good. Then BAM! F^*$K. The little tree, couldn't have been more than 6 inches in diameter walked away without a scratch. Not my "Built Ford Truck".
