Bug Shield

Has anybody seen paint damage to their Ranger from the bug shield? I'm curious as to sand and leaves behind the shield which can grind at the paint with the wind.
I'm thinking of using the Ford pass points to buy one...but don't want to damage the truck.

Not a problem with mine. I have the AVS and there is enough clearance I did not install the rubber bumpers on the hood.

same here with the AVS...did not put the rubber bumpers on mine no issues with leaves or dirt...however mississippi bugs still get to the windshield (but not the hood)
