Just got it a few hours ago and haven't seen 1 damn fly yet ! Shot myself on top of my foot thinking ? it's just salt ? and shouldn't sting THAT bad , but , it did , anyway , waiting for my first kill , other than my own foot...
They have a CO2 pistol version that is supposed to kill wasps and hornets and spiders and such, I will NOT be testing that one on my bare foot , but some carpenter bees may be in for a suprise...

NOT FOR WASPS !!! Got pretty close a couple times , just made it mad ? ?, hit it pretty good the last time as I saw some salt bounce off , it flew off at an angle so I think ? I at least winged it... I'm gonna say it stung me and chased the doggos ? ? ? so I can justify the "Shredder" to wifey...

I should have just lead with that one, but I'll have one indoors and one outside...

I took an "old" pump-up pellet gun, shoved a little paper towel wadding down the barrel with a clothes hanger, dump a little salt in, give'r 3-4 pumps, and use it on the wasps that disturb my hummingbirds at the feeder. They don't fly away.

Not sure WTF is going on , but the flys seemed to have been notified about my new weapon ? , I'm resorting to leaving a few doors and windows open to see if any dare enter and keep me entertained this evening...

I turn on an outside light after dark, fill mine with kosher salt and skeetshoot moths flying around. Most blow apart like they are full of tannerite .

I did upgrade to sea salt , ill put Kosher on my ammo list though ...

Definitely don't shoot yourself with the CO2 version. It left a hole more or less and a scar. Distance of 12 inches away when he was shot. Also, if you do get it. Don't leave it in the sun or heat. It won't fire if the CO2 gets to warm. I've ended spiders, wasps, big Texas tree roaches, you name it. It's too much fun.
