Thanks for posting, if i can be REALLY needy and ask for a photo of the cap itself the next time a wheel is off (# on back as well) that woudl be super helpful. I have some black ford logo caps like that, but they sit in about 1/4" of an inch more than the broncos did. I'll pay the tax as well.

You'll experience a drop in mpg, but the dash is calculating based on wrong information. Forscan will change that and it will go back up (per the dash).

I paid $400 for a set of 5 takeoffs with 500 miles on them. I’m not going to threadcrap on those listed in the classifieds but they are massively overpriced if you are willing to look around a few hours on Facebook marketplace. I got a decent deal, but going price was $4-600.

I mean yes and no. Half the reason I bought at that price was a new set of tires would be more, however the oem tires are rumored to be a cut rate version of the retail.

The buyer I bought from had them listed for 8 months? You’d think if a deal someone else would have swooped in. I found probably 20 sets in the week I looked on Fb marketplace for under $600 with minimal or no mileage. Negotiated from there.

The demand isn’t there for used tires with no warranty. You can disagree and think your set is worth $1K but I wouldn’t pay that and the market disagrees.

What caps did you purchase? I’ve got a set in storage for when my factory A/Ts wear down. I tried one set of caps but they are recessed too much. I think those ford performance caps may fit but have not dropped $80 to test.

In terms of mpg, mine actually went up before adjusting the speedo… I assumed it hit a sweet spot of gearing.

I too am running bronco wheels and tires, these came off a black diamond 265/70r17 got all 5 for $250 brand new.

Just cruised facebook marketplace - dang there are some people who are really proud of the wheels and tires they are selling . . .

2300 for a set of bronco raptor takeoffs. . .

3200 for a set of bronco desert runner takeoffs. . .

I think I will sit and wait for someone who is really desperate so I can get a set for winter tires. . .
