Broken tab on used grill

Hey Folks I just bought a used grill on Ebay. The seller stated all the tabs were in tack but when I got it one of the tabs on the e n d (see pic) tab is missing.
Is this an issue or should I send it back?
Any advise would be appreciated!

I would let the seller know that I going to try it, and if it doesn't work out I will be in contact. It may be fine, but a little CYA is a good thing.

I would send it back and make the seller pay for the shipping if Ford put a tab there it is needed

I would notify the seller of the issue and see if they are willing to do anything about it or not. If it's just the one tab it's not the end of the world, and it should be fine since there's another tab just above it.

I did contact the seller and he is aware. My concern is taking mine out and possibly breaking a tab installing the new (used) grill and it not being held in place correctly.
Also there is no tab above it. That is the broken tab.

I was referring to the top mounting points where the grill is bolted to the truck. I just called it a tab. As long as those are intact and the rest of the tabs are in good shape it'll be fine.

As for removing yours, just take your time with it, don't crank on the tabs to release them when inserting the screw driver or trim tool. Just follow the steps in Stage 3's how-to video and you shouldn't break any tabs on your original grille. I have pulled mine out a couple of times now and having a stubby screw driver and a trim tool to release the tabs comes in handy.

remember, at one time.....Ford put six tie downs in the bed.....just sayin'

I'm pretty bummed I missed out on the heated wipers, that was one of my favorite features on my WRX.

I bought a grill off the classifieds here with a broken tab an it's been in for over a year an no problems.

Like I say when I have left over parts: they over engineer all that shit
