This was done with 3 coats of VHT Niteshades. Can get it at local auto parts store. No prep work either for it to stick. Just clean several times with 91% rubbing alcohol.

I get in trouble many times for stating my true feelings. May be impressive south of the border though :lipssealed:
I kind of dig that truck. Bit old school looking. Now you want to see ugly? There is someone one here with a truck that is blue, but with pink stickers and highlights on it. Even the reality shows on HGTV wouldn't combine those colors. That is like combining purple and brown. Even men know some basic color rules.

Then again some people might think my truck has passed the line into absurdity.

Some people here have a real adverse reaction to being confronted with unfiltered truths or opinions on here. I suspect you are like me, your threshold for sugar coating is extremely low. Tread carefully.

Special Vehicle Operations, Ford’s old racing division of the 80’s. Their first creation was the Mustang SVO, powered by the 2.3 Lima 4 cyl with a turbo bolted to it.
Thought I heard it before, just did not make the connection to the R5G.

I respect the white steel wheels. Bravo. They were popular on trucks when i was a kid. I hardly ever saw a 4x4 without them until i was about 13 lol. id run them on mine except I think they would look rough on a black truck. but if i got black center caps and lugs - hmmm.

I haven't dug deep into lighting requirements legally in my neck of the woods for some time.
Last time was about auxiliary lighting being covered when not in use. I now keep a roll of black duct tape handy in case.

But I do recall, tinting was only illegal in the front headlights.
Rear lights have to be visible at 150 meters

so if you can tint them, and still see them at that distance, you might skip a ticket, but it might not keep grandpa with cataracts from moving his engine into your back seat.

Still a special place in my memory for the SVT Cobra R.

What I have seen is either 500 or 1000 meters in varying states.

Hum. Let me see if I get this straight. You want some special "look", so you're willing to forgo being seen when you apply the brakes, and to defeat the built-in, radar safety devices installed in the taillights? Did I get the idea correctly?
Let me see if I get this right. Do you know how to read? Did you see my post mention I don’t want decals? Because I don’t want to interfere with my LED taillights? Do you and others like you just look around for things to argue about on forums?Do you think you look smart? Do you know what black accent rock guards mean? To go around a tail light and not interfere but just accent them? That was also mentioned in my post. If you don’t understand what I’m asking about then don’t post an irrelevant answer please.

That looks very nice. Nice job. I’d still like a black rock guard but cannot find any for a 23 anywhere. That looks great though

I had mine spray tinted by a friend. I agree the Blackout package should have had something "darker" for the tail lights. I believe the headlights are internally blacked out in some areas. Doesn't affect BLISS at all.

Yes my headlights are and I think Ford did a great job with the head lights. Definitely needs something for that black appearance around the tail lights.
Terrible idea.

You’re going to do this no matter how many people on here warn you not to, aren’t you? You might as well do the third brake light while you’re at it.

Oh, yeah, maybe order one of these too.

Lol! Did you really waste your time on that? Think it’s cool? Lol! Why don’t you read the post better instead of being a smart a**. You’ll look smarter that way. I don’t want to interfere with my LEDs at all as the post says. Or I could just tint them or decal them which the post says I don’t want. Wow! Comprehend what you read before you post. Please!

I like people to know for sure I am stopping, turning, and backing up. I have not looked into them at all.

I remember back in my car meeting up each weekend days. That spray on stuff being the rage for anything except the windshield.
Wouldn’t spray the tail lights want to accent not cover.
