Hello all. I'm about to order a set of Bilstein 6112 coilovers with 5100 rear for my 19 stx. I want to mount a set of motegi trailite 17x8.5 wheels. What are the biggest tires I can fit? Is it still 265/70r17? I think the Bilsteins allow a 2.5" lift, is this accurate? Am I understanding it correctly? Very new to all this.

I'm about to run those tires on stock rims, etc. I hope they work for your setup.

For anyone out there wondering, this combo did not fit without rubbing. I had to loosen the front crash bars and push them forward. That helped mostly, but there is still some rub on the driver side when cutting the wheel hard and backing up for some reason. Doesn't appear to rub on the back bars. I'm going to install the ready lift anti intrusion beams next. Hope that clears it up. If not, will have to wait untill I get Bilsteins 6112 installed later in August(when they are back in stock) and can get some lift on it.

Hey Rory,

It might be the need for a bit of lift, it might be the offset of those new rims, or both. What is their offset, by the way?

It’s mostly your offset that’s giving you grief. The ReadyLIFT anti-intrusion beams should help take care of it but get it levelled as soon as you can.

Cutting out your OEM beams will be a pain and removing the OEM beams intact will also be a pain - choose your poison.

You’ll need more than just the instructions that ReadyLIFT provides and there’s help on Ranger5g. Search the forum for information and tips on how, and how not, to replace these beams. Some of the build threads will have what you need.

Good luck.
