OME springs are notorious for squeaking. It pays to keep the urethane bushes greased.
Yea I took mine off because the squeaking was insane as well as the fact that the add a leaf I had wouldn't support the weight, so I bought the APG deavers when they were on sale because they re-use the stock bushings which don't squeak!

What grease would you recommend? That sounds like a good idea and something i should do rather than spraying fluid film on the shocks since that doesn't last very long.
Powdered Graphite works well for this, otherwise silicone grease like the bushes lube works too. Graphite has the advantage of not collecting dirt like the grease does. I've also used WD40 wet PTFE spray as well. It's not as dry as graphite but not as sticky as grease either.

From what I remember Old Man EMU recommend a Moly based grease for the leaf spring bushings at the least

For the bushings yes, this is for the squeaky leaf pads. When I put Iron Man shocks on a different brand ute I once owned they came with packets of a thick silicone grease. Other makers say you don't need to lube urethane at all. Looks like there is a lot of variation out there.

Looking into upgrading from my eibach stage 2.0 kit. I am currently running deaver leafsprings and stock UCA’s. I’m looking at the fox 2.5 kit with some Camburg UCA’s.
I am debating other brands as well such as kings, radflo, bilstein etc.

One of the issues I have now with my Eibach system is severe corrosion from rain and salted roads, so having an aluminum body shock versus steel like the kings might be preferred.
Let me know what you guys are running (or thinking of running) on your rig! Looking forward to a health and respectful debate, which shock brand is best for what needs?

EDIT: The poll should say ICON 2.5 not ICON 2.4, that was a mistake. I started this thread on my phone and have big thumbs.
I run King Shocks 2.5 with the Camburg UCA's on my 2020 ranger and love the set-up. I'm also always in the desert tearing it up and I have driven home without any issues. Get the King 2.5 with the valve on the external reservoir.

For "tearing up the desert" with minimal weight in the bed , a King/APG/ Deaver or ICON/APG/ ICON Mid-Runner system is the way.to go...

I had sumospring, but then replaced them with the APG bump-stops since the sumosprings are too tall. The icon bump stops seem ideal, that or I just cut the sumosprings I have! Those APG UCA's look like mint.

The APG Billet UCA's are milled aluminum, with an anodized finish....I live outside a small city, on a secondary road that they don't treat with salt or brine when it snows. I also will put on a rain suit and take my creeper to the carwash for wand spray of suspension and under carriage after any offroad adventure that included mud...?.... I used 3 n1 Oil Dry Lube and Blue Locktite during suspension install, after 3 years have never had any squeaks.

I went this way. A great upgrade, but not an unlimited budget. DId basically the ICON Stage 6 in phases.

I tow a trailer and upgraded from Bilstein 5100's up front and 6200's (w/Resi) out back. Pretty happy with the results.

How did you apply the 3-in-1 oil dry lube to the leafs?

I must admit that the coilover cover on the icon is a nice touch, especially if you drive in the mud often! Thanks for sharing. Nice brake kit. Is that also from icon?

I did not spray or grease the leaves at all.
I sprayed all the bushings , Uniballs, and Heim joint ends with the 3 n 1 Dry lube...
I have cleaned and given the joints and uni ball a maintenance squirt about once year during tire rotation...
