At least you had something in the extra tie down holes, I am going to have to clean my threads out from the factory spray. I purchased the M8 bolts but there's no threading them in with the spray.

Use 8 mm - 1.25 tap

That or a thread chaser, I used a pair of those aluminum chasers since I didn't want to risk the threads and it was cheaper than a non harbor freight quality tap
