I was going to order a new Ranger and was wanting to know how the factory spray bedliner is compared to LineX. My first Ranger I had gotten LineX. But it’s over $100 cheaper to opt for the factory one.
I have never used LineX and cannot compare the two, but I can tell you that I have had zero problems with the factory spray, which is cheaper, as you say, and saves you the trouble of taking the truck somewhere else to get the work done. To be fair, I do not haul a ton of stuff, and I keep the truck in the garage most of the time, so I cannot say how it would have held up under more challenging conditions. My next Ford truck will get the factory spray job as well. It's your dime...

I'm extremely happy with my bullet liner. I would recommend it over line-x but the most important thing is checking reviews of the shops applying it near you. I drove a bit further to get it done than I had to because the closer shops had reviews mentioning sloppiness, etc. Can't go wrong with either line-x or bullet if you get a shop who is thorough and takes care when applying it.

I got an estimate from Line-x for $499.00 before tax. But chose a local independent shop who beat their price. They did a High Pressure spray on of Polyurethane for $425.00 out the door (tax included). Flawless job. They have a 4.9 rating on Google. I've hauled Flagstone, large building blocks (52.5 lb. each), supplies from Lowes, etc., and the surface is intact.

My locally sourced Bullet liner was cheaper and came with a lifetime warranty. Nuff said.

My last truck a F-150 and now my Ranger has a factor sprayed bed and a heavy duty bed mat. Liked the bed mat also to protect the sprayed bed and nothing slides around

My son put a 1/4 rubber mat in his F150 with a spray in liner. Way better grip and sound deadens the closed bed.

I have a 2021 Ranger I bought in May 2021. I haul a lot of firewood, gas cans, building lumber, and just about anything else I can put in the bed. The factory liner has held up incredibly well. I have no complaints at all.

I also combined the factory-sprayed bed with a heavy-duty, rubberized bed mat. You get good protection, nothing slides around, and comfortable to sit on! I change out the bed mats every year or so to keep everything looking new.

Adding a heavy duty bed mat for $105 thru Frank is well worth it on top of the sprayed bed.

Might cause a delay in getting your truck. Not sure if they got their supplies right - but with my order (Maverick) it was going to delay the order by months. Make sure to ask IMO.
100% why i did not order the factory spray bed liner. It is delaying everything. Super duty, F150's... every freaking thing.
