Does anyone know what these rubber plugs and the holes they are covering are used for? I am thinking of running leds though them.

Holes are there cause Ford had a bunch of rubber plugs they had to use up...without a hole, there's no use for a plug.

I've seen them frequently used for drainage for tonneau covers. Sure pretty much any run-through of wires/etc is a planned use.

(example pic is a F150 but same for Ranger)

Hi Steve,

You discovered our deep, dark secret...how to use left over plugs... Worst was when we had to use oval on the left and round on the right of the headboard of the P/U box... :)

Best,
Phil
