I went with the ultra-simple budget version. Went to the local Home Depot and found a 2X6 with a broken end. Had them mark it down 70% as damaged/scrap lumber and got out for under $5. A few cuts later, a little filing on the ends and done. Fit perfect first try. By far my cheapest addition to the truck. Weather is warming up this weekend so I think I'll throw on a coat of epoxy paint.
It does come in handy keeping things in place.

What is the overall length of the board? My local Depot has a lot of damaged 2x6s and will cut them too my needs for free

I might put holes in mine to lose some weight.
The "Cleaver Made" totes fit on both sides and a standard milk crate fits in the middle.

I don't recall the length of the board and its cold and frozen out there right now. To top is wider than the bottom, the slots are tapered. Grab a tape measure while your at the Depot and measure it.

The bottom 2x4 has two measurements:​

Bottom Edge- 58 3/4"​

Top Edge- 59 3/8"​

Keep in mind, John’s drop-in bedliner might have slightly different dimensions than others. Definitely worth checking out the damaged lumber section for these dunnage projects.

wow... it must be my work connection having things blocked or something. earlier today i logged into 5g for a couple minutes and read a post or three. your picture of the truck had a big blue square covering the driver area of the windshield... almost like the black bars they used to put over the nude parts on tv. Now im home and it looks normal.
