I have some Swing Cases that have brackets that don't match my truck, so am going to have to make my own. I also like the idea of having a solidly mounted, but removable no-drill method of mounting Milwaukee Packout cases to my truck, and have been toying with the idea of making something to suit.
What would make these tasks considerably easier would be if I had plans, schematics, blueprints or a CAD file with the dimensions of the bed and the location of the factory holes, tie-downs, tailgate extension mounts, bed pressings etc accurately marked up. I know SEMA do something for the aftermarket industry, but I was wondering if anyone had anything similar, either official Ford or just good measurements that someone has made themselves?
Given how accessible design has gotten through things like the free Fusion 360 app, and services like Sendcutsend, this seems like something that would be beneficial for the DIYer.
