This one is after Helena just down the road from where I took the previous picture. This is not my picture I was safely home in Kentucky when it was taken. We did eat here the same night as that other picture. The Smoked Tuna dip is so good, a great start before the shrimp tacos.:)

Found the ole abdominal snowman at Lowes yesterday. He's huge, plus $498! How the heck do you store a parade float sized decoration in a mini barn??
It is a quandary.?

Leave him out all year and dress him for different holidays.

We had a beautiful skunk wonder through our backyard this evening. I didn't get a picture as he was quite skittish. Any abnormal sound and he'd jump with his tall going straight up!

But his white strips were pure white as fresh fallen snow. Simply beautiful. 15 minutes later he was gone.

I went to let my lab outside one last time on a hot muggy night, in between the last time I let her out a skunk had been in the backyard (fenced in) stank to high Heaven! I looked at my lab and said sorry girl we're going in and you'll have to hold it a while because if you get sprayed your sleepin outside!

Kristi & I just got back from Custer State Park, SD and had an incredible time out there. We stayed at an air b&b, who happened to lease their 1,000acres(!) to a bison rancher. He also leases other parcels, and also supervises the ~1,500-head Custer State Park heard. Busy guy! Things lead to things and we were invited to go out on about an hour or so run as he moved about a hundred of his ~400 head personal stock of bison from one range to another. It's been very dry this year and he has to keep moving the heard as the wells run low and need a few days to recover. Mrs Motorpsychology "Ace Reporter," is talking to Chad Kremer, the rancher:

Sounds like a great trip Chris! We love Custer State Park and there's so much to do and see there. It's a shock the first time you drive down through the animal zone and there's hundreds of Bison in the fields on both sides and also blocking the road. We'd be living in SD now if there winters weren't so bad. ?
