One of the pluses of living in Australia- SE Asia is close, and comparatively cheap to visit.
Komodo dragon, Komodo Island, Indonesia. There is a reason the locals build their houses on poles out over the water. The whole area is full of small islands and really quite beautiful.

Beechworth, a small well preserved, old gold mining town in northern Victoria. We stopped there for a couple of days on the way home from our Murray river trip in winter last year. This park was cold, it sits about 3,000 Feet up in the southern highlands and is only a short drive to the Australian Alps. Here is the Ranger and our Jayco Journey caravan, that night temps dropped below zero, we had a light snow, and I woke up to find the Ranger covered in ice and our water hose frozen! It was cosy inside with the aircon on reverse cycle, and a little electric fan heater going full blast. I was glad I let my wife talk me into a powered site even if they were a bit squeezy.

I'm happy that the curvature of the earth is apparent. I hope it illicits some quality discussion with the flat earthers.

I have a damper and it only works because the earth is flat. Nuff said!

Well I didn't see any Taz's but they are there. A lot have died over the last 10 years or so due to a new viral induced tumor disease.
