What happened to the fish with the #44 tag, shark bite? Were the snapper caught near an oil platform? Nice trip!

Yeah, that was a huge Scamp Grouper that couldn't get away from a shark. The captian said that grouper might have been a possible state record for it's species. I felt bad for the poor guy that caught it. We were anchoring over reefs and one cut off rig during the trip.
