The BdS instructions say you need to remove the front bumper to install. Do you or anyone know if these can be installed without removing the bumper (like the ready lift)?

There’s a way to get them installed without removing the bumper but it requires a grinder and some cutting. Depending on how handy you are and how much you trust yourself, it may be easier just to remove the bumper.

You do not need to remove the bumper to remove the OEM crash bars intact and install those bars. However, you would need to remove the valance, being careful not to bugger up the clips or sensors (if you have them) and loosen the bumper, one side at a time to create enough clearance to wrestle them out and install the new ones.
The rear bars can be removed intact by unfastening the bottom of wheel lip trim without breaking clips, peeling back some wheel well liner without creasing it, removing the crush block, bending a tab on the lower part of the wheel well, and wrestling the crash bars out.
Sounds like a lot of work but you can also spend an equal amount of time going at them with a reciprocating saw or an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel, as mentioned above.
It will be frustrating and you should have plenty of extra blades on hand or that full pack of cheapie cut-off discs you thought was such a great deal at Habor Freight.
