Starts but losing voltage sitting one week 11.7, recharged to 12.99 next day 12.64, don’t care about cost want issue fixed, alternator charging + 15 Volts, no start / stop.
A battery's resting voltage and charged voltage are never the same. If the truck will start at 11.7 volts on a cold day, and if it quickly reaches charging voltage, save your money and leave it alone.

So after more carefully reading responses,it sounds like it’s operating properly for a AGM
Battery.

We just bought out lease on our 2019 Jetta and
are going to sell it as soon as we get title cleared. This leaves us with my one year old Ranger.

We have two other toys.

A 36 yr old diesel Kubota Lawn tractor. ( battery failing unless run often)
&

A S5500 Parmarc Generator powered by an air cooled Kohler Diesel Engine. It’s battery is on smart trickle charger. It’s Fl standby storm ready.

I ordered a Odyessy battery for the Ranger,
Putting Ranger battery on generator with battery tender adjusted to AGM.

The higher Amp hour Garden Tractor battery goes on the Kubota.

Yeah it sounds like a lot of trouble but I’m retired truck driver and mechanic.

Do not get air cooled diesel , it shakes fuel lines loose and is pain in ass.
