Hey everyone!
New to the thread. I got a 22 ranger tremor. I just installed the AWE cat back and I love the start up! However, I noticed on the highway at 65-70mph just cruising on cruise control, there is a vibration that goes in and out. At times it’s nice and quiet(maybe for a minute) the. It starts to vibrate the cabin. It’s pretty annoying as it’s comes and goes so often during highway, steady driving.

overall the I like the exhaust but I was expecting a “non droney” type drive on the highways

anyone else experience this?
Thanks

I’ll be posting pictures soon!

No experience with this exhaust, but that seems well out of the ordinary. Maybe check all the connections? Hard to imagine that an exhaust would cause a vibration that shakes the entire cabin, sounds more like the usual driveshaft vibration that people get or your tires need to be rebalanced.

Thanks! Not the easiest to explain the sensation that is happening. However, the truck is in the shop right now having a rebalance done and alignment!

hopefully that does make a difference.

Could be that the Tremor has the fake exhaust noise that plays from the speakers and is reverberating with the actual exhaust note. If so it can be disabled with Forscan

Didn’t consider that as a reason at all. Hmm! Thank you

I installed a Borla cat back and later an SPD downpipe. It was really really loud. Then I installed a Borla resonator and that toned her down very nicely. No more droning. Now it sounds angry but not in an unacceptable way.

Pics and video- curious about the sound. Any noticeable performance or mpg increase?

Installed the AWE cat-back and used the axle-dump config. Louder than stock for sure, but not near as loud as Borla (as Drandon mentions above before the resonator install). No highway drone or weird vibrations. I haven't yet disabled the fake exhaust sound.
