Can anyone tell me how to turn off the auto function in the climate control? Where it use to say the driver temp it now says auto on the screen. I can’t get it to go back to the temperature number.

When you're on the climate screen, it says Auto in the upper left corner. I believe it's blue when turned on Auto, then kinda a light grey when Off. So if it's Blue, touch it to turn it Off. That's how it is on my XLT, don't know if a Lariat is different.

I checked the manual. I press auto to turn it off like it says in the manual. Nothing happens.

Check to see if you pressed the "Max AC" button. That sets the temperature to "Lo" , the distribution doors to "Recirculate", and the mode to Auto. It's actually a separate button to temporarily override your normal settings and cool down the cabin as fast as possible. Press this button again, and the settings should go back to what ever they were set to before.

Changing the fan speed did it. The manual says to press AUTO to turn it off. Pressing AUTO just kept it in that mode.

What a stupid system. I have the same issue. Once auto is on the only way to get it to turn off is to adjust the fan speed on the manual button. Pressing auto in the climate screen does nothing. Pressing the manual auto button does nothing. I'm guessing this doesn't happen in every truck or this question would come up more, probably some programming demon.
