...Other than the electrical glitches, the 14MPG was the biggest drawback...
Yes, 14 mpg is pretty bad, but that was off the lie-o-meter. Like to see what it actually was manually computed. My Ranger is notorious for around 16.8 - 18mpg in the city. My mpg is pretty bad, but I'll take it over something in the 14 mpg range. The General Grabber A/TX tires probably cost me 8-10% on fuel economy and then the short trips and city stop-and-go traffic really hurt my mpg.

I'm sure the mpg will get better as the engine breaks in. It's funny how there's so many here who get under 20 mpg while others like myself are averaging 22-23 mpg. On our last trip up to Goodyear 2 weeks ago I got my best at 27 mpg. That was with the cruise set at 75 mph too.

That one was broken in at 29k miles 😁

I think a lot of it has to do with the 33" tires.

Most Rangers on here with tires that size probably get about the same.

It is also hurt a bit by gearing (3.42).

I only average around 16 in my Ranger.

The vast majority of my trips are less than 20 minutes so it never really gets up to temp.

I thought it was brand new? Maybe you mentioned it wasn't and it went right by me. 🙃

My Tremor has Lt tires so while only 32" they're still a little heavier.

Have you looked on the Colorado forum to see what they're averaging for mpg?

The other one I drove a couple of weeks ago was new. 😁

Fuelly shows an average of 18 when you limit it to only the ZR2 version.

That must of been Season 1 Episode 1 on Hallmark. 😆

I do not know why yours does so much better than mine does, since we both have the same tires and mine is leveled a little less than yours is in the front. Even round trip from Phoenix to Tucson I was around 21 mpg. What mainly kills my MPG is the 7 mile commute to work in stop-and-go traffic. Starting out from a dead stop, burns gas and I am not heavy on the throttle. In around 6 months I'll probably end up replacing the General Grabber A/TX tires. My mpg should improve if I go to the Continental TerrainContact A/T tires.

And no Lacy Chabert anywhere to be found.

Though I might've seen the girl from Wonder Years roaming about...

Yep, 33's on mine and I average 14.5-15 city and 17-18 highway. They are lt 10 ply as I drive thru a lot of thorns chasing birds thru the desert.

Growing up (ok , I still do 🤫) I had a huge crush on Danica McKellar! :inlove:

She's the cousin of a friend of my parents and I was always hoping she'd come out to MA so I could meet her. Of course it never happened. :crying:

Well phooey.

The dealer called me up today.

They dropped the price on this one by another $2k.

My salesman is checking to see if they resolved the issues I experienced and what the warranty on this one would be.

As a bonus, the wife is out of town this weekend with her friends so I'm here by myself.

With a truck that I could trade.

And no one to suggest a more financially sound decision.

If I'm not mistaken, baby's first poop is more like black tar...at least my son's was, and I know this because I changed his first diaper.

But everything after that was indeed a hot yellowish mess for a good while.
