I would post it on the suspension section but figured here would get a better response since there are more views. But wanted someone’s opinion and views on the 2.5’s coil overs and rear shocks in terms of real life driving and off road.
I currently have the 2.0’s Fox all around but feel like my front end needs to be a bit more higher up but hopefully ride abit better.
anyone have opinions or reviews on it?

I installed mine a few weeks ago. I had the Ford/fox 2.0’s before this. But I’m running icon leaf packs, so your experience might be a little different. It definitely settled down the front end, in my opinion the 2.5’s in the softest settings are more comfortable than the 2.0’s. The 2.0’s seemed too sensitive/active in the front. The rear end is more compliant too but the icon leaf packs are 33 percent softer than stock.

Out of the box the 2.5’s raise the front by 2 inches with the factory set preload. I added about 3/8 inch of preload on the driver side and an 1/4 inch of preload on the passenger side since I had a bit of driver side lean. 1/4 inch of preload will bring the overall truck height up 1/2 inch.

On road it’s more comfortable, and the dsc adjusters work really well to stiffen things up off-road. Overall very happy with the 2.5’s. In my opinion they’re better than the 2.0’s in every aspect, you won’t be disappointed if you spend the money on them. I would highly recommend the icon leaf packs too.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks much for the review. It's hard finding real-life feedback on the Fox 2.5 setup. This is what I want to do as well. I was looking at the Deaver springs, but the Icons are much less expensive and have positive reviews. Did you change out your upper control arms?

No worries. I didn’t change the upper control arms. I was able to get it aligned within spec without changing them and they’re not rubbing anywhere. Definitely on the list in the future for more articulation, but not a necessity right now. Especially after spending so much on the 2.5’s lol. I’m really happy with the icon springs, I’ve had em on for a while now through all sorts of conditions and still no squeaking or creaking. Let me know if you have any more questions.

The biggest difference was the holistic suspension design. UCA and rear springs made a huge difference.
