A buddy of mine had throat surgery, and is still recovering. He was able to come over tonight and work on Lego. I built this, while he worked on his McClaren. We had 3 people and 3 kits going. A solid build night.

Another one built. The dark colors made this one harder to photograph. The was, by far, the most time consuming kit of this size. Bag one took me 3 hours, and I am a 'speed builder' (not by choice, I just get in the zone and build quick). A really fun kit to build though. I am going to need to find a display option soon. This makes 9 cars now... And I have the Raptor to build next.

I'll post my pics in a bit. Have a little over a dozen built speed champions and have been on an ordering spree. Have about 15 more unopened kits waiting to be started.

However...today I saw the Titanic kit back in stock on Lego's site and so I pulled the trigger. That is going to be one LONG build, haha.

I want the Titanic so bad, but I can't bring myself to spend the money. I did, however, find the OG Bugatti for sale locally. It's built, but has been torn down and has all the original packaging. For $200 off MSRP on a retired kit, I will take it. Going to get it tomorrow.

Built the Senna today, but I’m not the biggest fan of the six wide stud builds. So I dug through my spares and converted it to 8 wide. ?

Cool! I assume you're talking about the one seater Speed Champion cars, like the F40, 911, Mustang, etc? They would look so much nicer if they matched the newer line of Speed Champion cars!

Correct, the earlier (pre 2020) lines were usually six wide. Now they have announced everything will be eight going forward and I just like them all to kind of scale the same.
