Another Annoying Alert

Is there a way to permanently disable the HORN beeping when you walk away from your vehicle with the keyfab in your pocket and the engine running? Does ford think all people are idiots? All these beeps/buzzers/warnings are killing me. I bought this vehicle for Hunting

Also while you in there I would turn on police dark mode since you hunting with the truck.

If your truck is equipped with a keypad on the door, you can lock it with that (press the 7-8 & 9-10 keys simultaneously) with the engine running and the key fob in the truck. Works with either the Intelligent Access or the standard key fobs. After having a Flex and an Escape with IA and keypads, I ordered my ranger with one.

No but the majority of people prove they are idiots and Ford like any other manufacturer has to protect themselves from idiots.

I usually just jump out of the truck to check a track and jump back in. Keep the FOB in the zippered pocket in my vest so leaving it in the truck is not practical. I'll look into the Forscan. Seems to be the way to go. Do I need to buy software (Windows) and cable separately? Will that permanently disable to auto start stop as well?
