Would love to do the door handles on my lightning blue xlt. Where did you get the handles from? Part #? Did you have a local shop do the colour match or Ford?

I am considering these for my truck. I like the look of them not being seen except when entering or exiting the truck. I have some questions about them. Does anyone have these on their truck?

Powerstep Running Boards

Questions:

1. Do you like them?
2. Did you install them yourself? If you did, was the install difficult in your garage/driveway?
3. Do they operate well?
4. Any issues?
5. Would you buy them again?

Thanks.

George

I have them on my 2019. My profile pic shows the factory steps. My wife kept complaining about the high step in/out, so to keep her happy, I purchased the Amp Research steps. You know the old saying, "Happy wife, happy life"!!!

Purchased from Auto Accessories Garage cause they were the only vendor at the time that actually had the steps in stock. On sale at the time for $1400, free shipping & delivered in 3 days.

We have a great mobile mechanic we use & he installed them, as at that time (last year) I had open heart surgery & there wasn't much I could do. He told me in advance not to order the override switch. He said to just pull the 30 amp fuse under the hood with all doors closed.

They operate perfectly with no trouble at all & yes, would definitely purchase again.

Could you use one of the auxiliary dash switches on the 21 Tremor for the override switch?

Just need a 3 positions sw ON1 - OFF - ON2. If the tremor has that you are good to go.
I made my own harness - spent like $5 including a swtich
