Not a problem because they are "blunt" acorn nuts.;) So far, they have protected my vehicle doors from careless door dingers
Wait, that's genius. Do the running boards really stop car doors from hitting your car? I would think that most car doors would be above the running boards and not make a difference? Please enlighten me.

Also, what does "blunt acorn nuts" mean? Thanks.

Have you ever seen the sharp spiked wheel nuts truckers have on their front wheels? For chewing up little cars that get in their way. You put them on your steps and it rips peoples shins who get close to your truck. LOL Back to the topic, I have never had a lock frozen after a truck wash, but in an emergency you could just pee on your lock. ?

Sorta off topic but duh - trucks, especially the Ford Ranger, have a center of gravity higher than most cars therefore the running boards will prevent dings from careless motorist. Having running boards with blunt acorn nuts have prevented door dings on my Ranger for over two years! You have been enlightened.

Public urination will land you in the pokey. In Arizona, probably life in prison
