Is it a good idea to air down the stock Bridgestone's when wheelin'?
I usually drop them down to 22-24lbs. Can't really tell if the ride changes much.
But I definitely tore them up on the trails this weekend. Lots of sharp rocks. But, didn't go all the way through so I was fine.

Yes it's still a good idea even though they're stock tires. You'll get a better ride over the rocky stuff and less chance of puncturing a harder tire. I usually air dow to 18 psi. If you're going to be doing more off roading like this (rocky stuff) you might want to get some better tires in the future.

I am. But it seems to be very confusing with back spacing, offset and everything else.
BFG KO seem to have the best sidewall protection. That's what I need out here. Lots of pokey stabby rocks.
I'm ready to pull the trigger on new rims and tires, just need help figuring out all the technicalities. 4WP sucks! Got to find another off road shop to help.

Unlike most, I can't stand the "spoked" rims look, and I want to go chrome. I'm hoping I can figure out how to get these Rockcrushers with BFG KO's.

Try looking and posting in the tire/wheel section. There are many there who can help you with the right wheel for backspacing and offset, I have no clue. lol

These are 18x8.5 with +30 offset.
Tires are 285/65/18
They sit right at the wheel well and clear the steering knuckles by an inch
I am running the Rangerlift.com 3” front spacer with Eibach pro truck shocks on the rear

I kept the stock Sport wheels and went with Nitto Ridge Grapplers and really like them. They're aggressive but still very quiet on the road.

I've tried that "customs offset" website. It's horrible for me. Freezes up, won't load, takes too dam long. I just gave up on it. Tried it from multiple locations. Same loading crap.

You have a lift / level right?
Really like the look of those tires, I have the same rims...
Marc, I have the RC 2.5" level with 265/70/17 Nittos. I was going to get wheels too but couldn't find anything I liked that looked good with the Saber color. I've been really happy with these tires so far and love how quiet they are on the road.

Hummm, wierd. I’m on there all the time looking around on iPhone or iPad. Loads up fast on WiFi or 5G. Easy peasy so far.

Any thoughts on off-roading pressure from my comment here?
Tremor tire pressure

As per my recent comment in that thread: I think I'll calibrate my deflators to 30 PSI hot (25-26 PSI cold).

Thanks for your input.

I usually set mine right at 18 psi. I mostly do rocky terrain so that's a good pressure to start with. For sand you should go down even more. Here's a good video which explains different pressure settings for different types of terrain.

Thanks for the link!

I'd love it if you could share the same info in that other thread.
There's actually some folks that suggest not to go under 24 PSI cold with our General Grabbers...
