I'd personally go with the Morimotos simply for the much better warranty.

LED headlights are an expensive proposition any way you slice it.

A 2 year warranty vs a 5 year warranty really helps me lean towards toward the Morimoto.

Honestly though, I don't have a dog in this fight as I rarely drive my Ranger at night so I'm not looking to buy either one.

Alpharex and Morimoto are for sure the two big ones on the market for the ranger. We have tested both and both performed well in their own ways. But We are a huge fan of the Morimoto set up as we have that on our ranger build right now! They do come with a higher price tag for sure. BUT best part is that as of today, they are 20% off. Free shipping. and NO TAX on our website right now! Feel free to message us though with any questions you have or if you need help with an order!
Please post some photos of your ranger and the Morimoto XB headlamps

Thank You. How long did it take for the install?
Install took roughly an hour. The install really is not hard just takes some time. You do not have to remove the entire bumper, but you do remove the front grill and the upper plastic part of the bumper. Everything is a simple plug and play so no hard wiring or anything like that!

Here’s a quick/not best quality image from the can on MMs cutoff. We had to adjust ours down some from when they came in as we were blinding people on the road with being lifted up some :whew:

Very easy to adjust! simply turn a Philips head screw like adjuster. Can be accessed without having to remove anything. But this performs much better.

These lights paired with the DD pro fog lights has been great on back roads. Rain. And even some snow (light snow. Nothing crazy. Will test more in winter of course) Highly recommended!

[QI will be goin with the pro series as it will save me some moneyUOTE="Gizmokid2005, post: 337269, member: 3556"]
I've been running the Alpharex Luxxs since they were released. I'm very happy with them, the cutoff is absolutely stellar, the startup sequence is *SUPER* bright and I think it's neat. Personally I think the 2 bulb setup is less "cluttered" than the 3 bulb setups, and the Morimotos just look like Taco lights (and personally if I wanted lights like a taco I would've bought one instead).

The pros are not a bad choice! We ran those for a couple months on our build to test them. Paired with a good set of LEDs (we ran the MM h7s) its a good set up and saving some $$. If you need a set hit us up! We can get you some plus free shipping and no tax so it saves some additional $$

Wow those headlights are 'purdy.' Definitely not cheap though. The guy who brought up the warranty coverage has a good point. It's not chump change to invest in the lights. You'd like to have the peace of mind that they'll keep working for that long.
