I was on safari in Tanzania last week. They love their 5g Rangers! I was surprised to learn Ford sells more of these “bakkies” than any other vehicle outside the US. Had nearly as much fun shooting the trucks as I did shooting the wildlife!

Yep they have a Ford factory there ( in Elizabeth). Many of the diesel engines come from the Elizabeth plant. The rest I think come from the UK plant. Not sure which plant my engine came from, but the engine number begins with GB which might mean "Great Britain"
