Sometimes it’s not just about the numbers. The Lightning rides like nothing else in its class. I can go 0-60 in 4 seconds!!! After driving it for a couple weeks now, my wife’s Escape feels cramped. I agree that $75K for these trucks was bogus…but with the current deals, it was a no brainer...

The Lightning is completely practical for me. I’m not a retired” Grumpaw”. I have young kids and play Uber driver for their activities. The bed is perfect for their dirty/wet gear. My business has frequent infrastructure stuff…construction etc. So having a truck to move/haul stuff is good...

That’s why we do all our camping locally…2 National Parks and a bunch of state parks all within 100 miles. No need to go farther

With gas up to $3.60 a gallon, I started looking at the F150. Couldn’t believe the prices. I was able to get a ‘23 XLT with the extended range battery for $54K OTD (including the max tow and tow tech pkgs). I’ll miss the old girl…lots of great camping trips, tons of memories these last few years.

It went dark a few weeks back. I am 6 months from the warranty’s term, so scheduled an appointment at the local dealership. Camera came back on, but flickers. Went into the shop today. They updated the software but said the camera needs to be replaced…will be a few weeks for the part to come...

I was on safari in Tanzania last week. They love their 5g Rangers! I was surprised to learn Ford sells more of these “bakkies” than any other vehicle outside the US. Had nearly as much fun shooting the trucks as I did shooting the wildlife!

You can buy Bronco shirts, jackets, coffee mugs and (??) playing cards. You can get all kinds of Maverick crap, even 2 kinds of water bottles. I would love to buy some Ranger swag (not playing cards LOL!) Do you guys think this is another dumb decision by Ford to downplay the Ranger?

Funny coming onto this thread. I just sold Carvana my XLT Sport package 2020 4X2 (with 2400 miles) for $30,654. I wanted the 2020 FX2, which I got from a dealer for $28,875 :crackup: So, I got a better but comparable vehicle for almost $2k less. Crazy :rolleyes:
