Well I bought the aFe and Velossa Air dam thingy's

The Velossa is not designed very well because it sticks up a little too far and prevents that top piece from laying back in place completely flat. It;s kool but not worth the money they charge.

The aFe Air dam installed very easy but also does not fit as snug into the airbox as the oem one again not worth the money. They should be about 40 - 50 bucks each. If I was gonna do it over I would pass on this upgrade.

The Engine cover when on perfect. Not sure if it's gonna do anything other than look pretty...

The engine cover does have one redeeming factor...it is also known as an EFD, or , Emergency Flotation Device.
Being made primarily of a foam material, if you should ever drive into a body of water higher than your Ranger, it will keep it afloat.
It has been known to be used as packing material when shipping something and you run out of Styrofoam packing peanuts.
And, it makes your wallet substantially lighter.

Is that a supersized damper or a lightsaber in that last pic? Lmao. What color combo is that Velossa? I asked them for pics (was interested in red body with black rim), but they couldn’t provide any

No that is just a Night Stick Light.

The Velossa is black on black.

I got the red aFe because that was all that was in stock. I will probably paint it black some day.

No real need to paint it Ken.

I found the same stock situation when I ordered mine but Brandon (@dondonbabyraptor ) pointed out that it matches the positive battery terminal cover. So, I’m cool with it being red. ?

Neither the Velossatech or the AfE is going to provide a noticeable performance boost or noise. The AfE is superior to the two piece Ford part with the restricted opening but is the same where it enters the airbox. The Big Mouth seems to improve highway MPGs.
