Hi Ranger5g Fam,
I noticed yesterday that the paint on my 2.5 year old BakFlip MX4 is peeling up in one spot. It looks like something got under the paint when the black paint/finish was applied. I love this cover but I am a bit surprised and disappointed to see this. I believe the metal underneath is aluminum, and I am worried about it rusting.
I already messaged REALTRUCK and I am hopeful they will support me under warranty. For the time being, please let me know if you have any advice for painting over this myself. I was thinking a little bit of truck bed coating. Or perhaps some plastidip - but I would need to be able to paint it on ideally, not spray it.
Thanks,
