I've had a Unity adjustable A-pillar (post-mount) spotlight one on my '97 Ranger for many years. It was halogen version, and worked great.

I'm looking to add an LED version to a 2021 XLT.

1) Has anyone else done this on 2019+ ? If so, any gotchas, or did it work normally?

2) The Unity site's model selector has been broken for a while, so I'm not sure what model fits the 2019+ ranger (no response from customer service yet).
If you've mounted one, which model did you get?

I dont believe there is such an option avalible and it may not be a good idea due to the curtain air bags that are usually in the a pillars. You dont want to mess one up by accident.

Thanks for the thoughts. I've been pondering the airbag question as well, and will ask both Unity and Ford about it. ( Agreed there may be problems. )

However, interestingly the manual doesn't list A-pillar airbags (pages 42-26 in the online manual): it only shows Dual Front, Side from the seats, and Safety Canopy from the top.

A-pillar cover pops off in this crash test - no airbag.

Yeah, none of the other crash tests show an A-pillar airbag either...
At this point, I'm starting to wonder if people think it's there, but it's not:D
Or, maybe it's only included in (say) Lariat?

It is a safety device, it would not be trim level dependent!

Check out the Ford Builder Advisory Service website. They have a bullentin # Q-275 regarding this on the F 150 and Superduty''s. They may have something on the Ranger.
