I get the same reaction here but I really don't mind. When I had my Jeep it was really annoying having every Jeep wave at you as you passed them. Seeing as there's a Jeep every 50' it got old quick.?

I'm starting to see a lot more Rangers here now so I got to thinking I should make up a sign that says "damper on board". Maybe more will wave to me.?

I knew a guy in Vancouver who lost the tip of his index finger down to the knuckle. As a joke, he’d set it against a nostril to make it look like he was digging away. It always got a reaction, then a chuckle when he moved it away. ?

I only wave to Rangers with graphene and dampers, or on the way to the dump. =p

I at least give a two finger wave off the top of the steering wheel to other Rangers.

That guy might have been deep in thought about how he'll make his house payment with all the mods he's recently done (assuming he's a forum member, of course).

I always wave to other motorcyclists when riding my FZ6 but not to scooters. Those are not real motorcycles in my mind. LOL. No waving in the Ranger however.

So…when I get my scooter, I can expect to get snubbed with that too? The Ranger & the scooter & no one to wave at me? It’s almost too much to bear!

Back with my 4G ranger I'd get waves all the time from other 4G owners. The 5G just has no 'heart & soul' yet. I'm guessing most owners are new to the Ranger world and it'll take time for them realize what they've got and acknowledge others on the road.
The biggest 'wavers' out there have to be Volvo drivers. With my old 240, even the drivers of brand new XC70's wouldn't just wave, they'd stop my in parking lots and yell out the window at me and ask me the year and my mileage. That old 240 wagon was the best pick-up truck I've ever owned.

ive waved a few times to scooters but thats because i was in a moped/scooter rally where it was full on chaos! and it was a lot of fun haha

Most people around here will raise a finger or two from the steering wheel in acknowledgement. Everyone except Ranger owners.

I understand having a dampered truck is totally a matter of choice, it's my buddy Mr. Boa that has an intense dislike of them, he posses great strength and doesn't seem to relate to weaker folks that need assistance with something as light as a Ranger tailgate, he after all is an apex predator.

It's OK to have repressed damper envy, it only cost $38 to fix
