I drive mine back and forth to work every day...since I am "essential".
but my wife works for an oilfield major and has actually been working from home since before the corona virus. So on the weekend I have to drive the Honda otherwise it will sit in the driveway and waste away.

I would actually love to drive the wheels off this truck lol.

I've already been planning our annual Florida/New Orleans trip for this year and also looking at a trip to the Cascades year after next.

Richard Conley,

Not sure but maybe it was an updated infotainment system in ours? It even buffers when I get a call over BT. It will pause the channel we are listening to and pick up the song after I hang up.
Its a small thing but really nice.

I also really like the blind spot camera in the passenger side door mirror.

One other thing I'd like to see with our trucks...the BLISS monitor light in the mirrors is okay? But why not have a tale-tell in the rear view mirror as well?

D

So I have 29,500 (started Corna Lockdown with 28,400) miles on my truck, and I can agree with almost every complaint here. I really second the passenger side grab handle, and will raise everyone here a "The paint is fragile as F",

I have some build quality issues that appear to be unique to me as they are not being reported a lot by other owners.

EDIT: We need a quick access button to turn off the Sync screen because I can't see shit when I back up at night.

I feel like a total idiot at times because I am still getting used to parking my Ranger. This is my first truck and I have always had smaller cars before. But I usually park at the back of a lot anyway to avoid door dings. I find it kind of hard to tell where the front bumper is due to the angle of the hood. I've been backing in spots a few times as well to get used to using the review camera but still botch it more often than not and have to make corrections.

I've been driving for a few decades with no at fault accidents, scrapes or fender benders. So I feel like a total tool when I have to keep correcting myself when parking my Ranger. I'm sure people that have been driving trucks for awhile will get a good kick out of my post. :) I'll get used to it though, only had the truck for 2 weeks.
Don't feel bad. I always make it between the lines, but I'm ALWAYS crooked:facepalm:

Hi Tracy,

I am always parking my Ranger absolutely arrow straight in a parking space only to come out of the store to the horror that I was all catiwampsus! Sheesh.... This old age is depressing for me...Can't park straight. I use to criticize these old farts for parking and unfortunately I have joined them....
Hang in there!

Oh, so that's what it is. Old age catching up with me! Well, I sure can't deny it. Been wondering why I can't seem to park straight. Bad thing is, I even wear glasses & still park crooked.:sun:

Hi Tracy,

I had to have catract surgery. Now I have had absolutely bad eyes since birth and have always worn glasses. So I get sold on these Toric lenses to replace my cataracts. They work wonderfully for most situations that do not require reading...the computer, the visa bill at a restaurant etc. Now I need cheater reading glasses of various strengths. Sheesh! However, these wonderful and Expensive lenses have caused a side malady in that I cannot park straight, try as I can. Every once in a while the blind squirrel finds a nut, I get it straight but most times it is not the case! Arrrrg!?

Just over 7k miles, and Love it.. Yesterday, I just took a 120 miles back country drive, even after a long drive up to the North Shore, still fun to drive!
Hi Jay,

Not a Railfan, but close...Grandfather was an Enigneer/fireman/conductor for Missouri Pacific. He took me to the Rail yards and I got to ride on switch engines. Watch train go by...to this day, I love getting stopped at a rail crossing to watch trains. Occasionally I spot a hot box but not so much as in the old days. Loved my time in Germany which at the time had coal fired steam engines.

Cool. I am more on the Amtrak Passenger fan. Logged about 48,000 miles with Amtrak.. I've been on a couple of coal trains, and 261 is the one in St. Paul.
